Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a Data Steward on an 18 month fixed term contract. You will own data quality across supporter databases, perform daily data routines, imports/exports, and reconciliations, and work with multiple teams to resolve data issues.

Ideal candidates will have solid CRM experience, SQL, reporting, and strong Excel skills, with a proactive, process-driven approach. This role is home-based with occasional travel within the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with CRM systems, SQL Server, reporting and testing.
• Strong Excel skills and a process-driven approach.
• Ability to investigate data issues and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience with data imports/exports and data quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve data quality across supporter databases and platforms.
• Carry out daily data routines, imports and exports, quality checks and reconciliations.
• Investigate data issues and perform root cause analysis to drive resolution.
• Support system changes, testing and upgrades to keep data fit for purpose.
