Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a data quality professional to support recording of high-quality patient data across Trust systems. You will identify data quality issues, collaborate to root-cause analysis, and help develop standard operating procedures alongside clinical and administrative services.

The role focuses on monitoring performance and improvements to achieve sustained data quality levels, while upholding national policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• To support the recording of high-quality data on the Trusts patient-based systems.
• To use systems to identify data quality issues on the Trusts patient-based systems using a variety of tools and in collaboration with the services identify the root causes of the issues.
• To work with the services to develop solutions to the issues e.g. development of standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and report on performance and improvements until the data quality levels required are sustainably achieved.
• Be an expert in all aspects of data quality and patient data management ensuring knowledge and adherence to all relevant national policy and procedures.
