Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Data Quality Administrator to join the Performance & Informatics department in Coventry. The post focuses on recording high‑quality data on patient-based systems and driving data quality improvements.

You will work with Cerner EPR and other tools, identify data issues, develop SOPs, and monitor performance to sustain required data quality levels in line with national guidance.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Administration or equivalent experience in an administrative setting.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• IM&T qualification such as ECDL or demonstrable software skills.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with national and local data quality guidance and procedures.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Cerner EPR functionality and use.
• Identify and correct data quality issues on patient-based systems.
• Validate patient journeys to ensure data quality is exceptional and accurate.
• Support SOP development and data quality training and standardised working practices.
