Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Data Quality Remediation Lead within the UK Corporate Chief Data Analytics Office to develop, implement and maintain effective governance frameworks for client data and records across the bank’s global operations. The role requires experience in root cause analysis, remediation and a strong focus on data quality, standards compliance, risk identification, and stakeholder engagement.

You will drive strategic policy, budgeting, and continuous improvement while training teams

Qualifications

• Experience in completing data quality root cause analysis and implementing remediation to improve both data acquisition and existing large volumes of data.
• Strong Stakeholder management and the ability to prioritise remediation based on risk and business value.
• Experience in using Data Analytics to make informed data led decisions.
• Experienced in using AI to improve business processes.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization.
• Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps.
• Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
• Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives.
• Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.
