Job summary

JSS is seeking an experienced Data Analyst for a London-based, outside IR35 contract to join the Data Excellence team in a retail/corporate banking context. The role involves reviewing data exceptions, identifying trends and materiality, and supporting data governance and regulatory remediation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, a solid understanding of UK banking data and experience with data platforms such as GCP.

Qualifications

• Experience with data quality, data remediation or data governance programmes within financial services.
• Ability to assess materiality, risk and business impact of data defects.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis background.
• Familiarity with UK banking data and regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review large volumes of data exceptions to identify themes, trends and defects.
• Assess materiality and business impact of identified data issues.
• Contribute to delivering the bank's data excellence project.
