Job summary

VWFS UK is seeking a knowledgeable Data Protection Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance Team. You will advise on UK data protection laws, support the DPO, manage DPIAs, respond to DSARs, and oversee data breach processes while collaborating with regulators and business units.

The role requires strong communication with senior leaders, a proactive approach to compliance, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in data protection practices across VWFS UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing data protection advice within Compliance or Legal.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on UK Data Protection laws and regulatory changes.
• Maintain Registers of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Lead assessment, oversight, and reporting of personal data breaches and MI reporting.
