Job summary

Edinburgh City Football Club Limited in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Data Modeller to join a major data transformation programme. This hands-on role focuses on creating clear, reusable data models that connect business concepts with technical implementation across domains.

You will work with domain experts, architects, analysts and engineers to model across conceptual, logical and physical layers, establish data standards, and support the design of modern data products.

Qualifications

Strong commercial data modelling experience.
Conceptual, logical and physical data modelling.
Strong SQL and data querying skills.
Business entity and domain modelling.
Data product schemas and data contracts.
Source to target mapping and transformation logic.
Metadata, business glossary and data catalogue experience.
Experience with established data modelling tools and repositories.
Ability to work across both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Create clear reusable data models that connect business concepts with technical implementation.
Map dependencies between domains and data products, assess impact and ensure traceability through metadata and governance.
