Job summary

Bright Purple is seeking an experienced Data Modeller to join a major data transformation programme in Edinburgh. This hands-on role focuses on creating clear, reusable data models that connect business concepts with technical implementation.

You’ll work with domain experts, architects, analysts, data product teams and engineers. You’ll perform conceptual, logical and physical modelling, establish common definitions and standards, and help design modern data products while mapping dependencies

Qualifications

Proven commercial experience in Data Modelling across conceptual, logical and physical layers.
Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platform.
Strong SQL and data querying skills.
Ability to map business concepts to technical implementations.
Experience with data product schemas and data contracts.
Knowledge of metadata, glossary and data cataloging.
Familiarity with data modelling tools and repositories.

Responsibilities
