Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking an Information Analyst to drive service improvements across the Education Service. You will use statistical data, Power BI dashboards and reporting to provide insights and support decision-making for children, young people and adults.

Responsibilities include analysing performance, creating dashboards, supporting service managers, and delivering statutory returns and FOI responses.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in statistical or numerical computing content.
• Experience with Mosaic Case Management System and Capita.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of children, young people policy, data and performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance information across Education Service; identify trends and drive improvement.
• Create and share Power BI dashboards; manage audience apps; connect via SQL gateway to Mosaic and Capita.
• Lead on timely completion of statutory returns and respond to ad-hoc information requests (e.g., FOI).
• Produce accurate information for elected members and senior managers to support decisions on resource allocation and planning.
• Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to support reforms.
