Job summary

Clear Business is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Engineering function and shape the data strategy across the organisation. You will collaborate with the Head of Data & Analytics to build a high-performing team and scalable data platforms, enabling data-driven decisions while ensuring security and reliability.

You will own the data engineering roadmap, align with senior stakeholders, and drive modern data solutions, governance, and automation across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing data engineering teams in complex environments.
• Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines.
• Strong technical expertise in modern cloud-based data architectures and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the Data Engineering function with the right people, processes and platforms.
• Own and deliver the Data Engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Design, deliver and optimise scalable, secure data platforms and integrations for trusted decision making.
• Provide technical and people leadership, establish standards and coach the team.
• Champion innovation, governance, and engineering maturity with cross-team collaboration.
