Job summary

Places Leisure, part of Places for People, is seeking a Head of Operational Optimisation to drive smarter, data-led resource management across sites. You will improve labour planning, scheduling and forecasting to align staff and resources with operational and commercial goals.

You will partner with leaders across Operations, Finance and central teams to identify efficiencies, reduce spend and build robust cost models for refits, bids and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in labour planning and workforce management.
• Forecasting operational demand and translating into practical labour plans.
• Experience analysing labour and non-labour P&L performance and cost drivers.
• Practical experience with DILO, time and motion studies or equivalent methods.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills to build models and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of data-led resource management and cost control across multiple sites.
• Identify efficiencies, reduce avoidable spend and protect customer experience.
• Create robust cost models to support investment decisions and growth opportunities.
