Job summary

Places Leisure, part of Places for People, is seeking a Head of Operational Optimisation to drive smarter, data-led resource management across sites. You will refine labour planning, scheduling and forecasting to ensure resources align with operational and commercial targets.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, Finance and central teams to identify efficiencies, reduce spend and build practical cost models supporting investment decisions. Some travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in labour planning and workforce management.
• Forecasting operational demand into practical labour plans.
• Experience analysing labour and non-labour P&L performance.
• Practical experience using DILO, time and motion studies or equivalent methods.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI for modelling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of smarter, data-led ways of managing resources and costs.
• Improve labour planning, scheduling and forecasting to meet goals.
• Identify efficiencies, reduce spend and support customer experience.
• Create robust cost models to inform investment decisions.
• Support refits, bids and growth opportunities with data-driven plans.
