Job summary

Places Leisure, part of Places for People, seeks a Head of Operational Optimisation to lead data-led resource planning and cost control across multiple sites. You will improve labour planning, scheduling and forecasting to ensure the right colleagues and resources are where they’re needed to meet operational and commercial goals.

You will collaborate with operational leaders, Finance and central teams to identify efficiencies, reduce avoidable spend and build robust cost models for investment

Qualifications

• Significant experience in labour planning and workforce management.
• Proven ability to forecast demand and translate it into practical labour plans and costs.
• Experience analysing P&L drivers and turning findings into actions.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI to build models and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of data-led resource planning and cost control.
• Improve labour forecasting, scheduling and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Finance and central teams to identify efficiencies.
• Support refits, bids and growth with robust cost models.
• Travel 2–3 days per week to Leisure sites.
