Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Centre Shift Leader to oversee operations in a critical environment in Harlow, UK. The role requires HVAP status, IEE 18th Edition, and strong CMMS/BMS experience to maintain high availability of critical plant.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary shift team, manage health & safety compliance, and coordinate maintenance work to meet SLAs while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience working within Critical Environments.
• Reliable and conscientious with professional conduct.
• HVAP status and 18th Edition IEE wiring competency.
• City & Guilds Electrical Competency (Parts 1,2 & 3) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of building services, mechanical and electrical.
• Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
• Familiarity with safe systems of work and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift team and act as CBRE representative outside core hours.
• Ensure execution of maintenance across PPM, CM, and reactive work within SLA targets.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety and client policies.
• Provide technical leadership and fault diagnosis for critical plant and equipment.
• Report shift activities, handovers, and status using logs and CMMS.
