Job summary

Bimplus in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager for client-side construction within a major data centre portfolio. You will oversee live-site upgrades and retrofits across electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines, while safeguarding safety, budgets and timelines.

The role demands strong stakeholder management, clear communication with client teams, and the ability to accelerate programs.

Qualifications

Experience managing M&E projects in live data centre environments.
Client-side project management with stakeholder coordination.
Strong communication, budgeting and schedule oversight.

Responsibilities

Project management and oversight of build and retrofitting activities on existing infrastructure.
Provide project management for initiatives increasing data centre resiliency.
Review construction drawings and project package drawings.
Creation of project scope, requests for proposals, and capital requests.
Total project quality including commissioning plan and oversight of execution.
Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management.
Operational support including review of procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives.
Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment or electrical failures.
Work with contractors and vendors to deliver efficient and high quality project turnovers.
Be a leader within the group and internal/external teams supporting the data centre.
