Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major data centre project in the North East region of England. You will oversee mechanical, electrical and public health services, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and budget controls throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or Senior MEP professional.
• Strong experience delivering major construction or data centre projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Excellent project management, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP installation and delivery across the project.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Manage programme, progress, quality and commercial performance.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design, specifications and project requirements.
• Drive coordination between mechanical, electrical and other construction disciplines.
• Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and programme issues.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.
• Attend and lead project meetings, providing clear progress updates and reporting.
