Job summary

JDP, part of Tessenderlo Group, is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth in the UK data centre sector, targeting developers, operators, consultants and contractors. You will build strategic plans, secure specifications, and manage a robust project pipeline across the UK.

You will represent the company at industry events and drive profitable sales growth, leveraging relationships and deep market knowledge to win major projects in a fast-evolving sector.

Qualifications

• Proven business development or specification sales experience within construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, or utilities.
• Strong knowledge of the UK data centre market and project lifecycle.
• Existing relationships with key organisations operating within the sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business growth strategy for the UK data centre market.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across developers, consultants, contractors, and operators.
• Secure product specifications and project opportunities from early design through to project delivery.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Manage a strong pipeline of data centre projects and provide regular sales forecasts.
• Represent JDP at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
