Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Project Development Manager – Data Centres in London to lead and oversee Western Europe data centre development. You will work with the Regional Head of Project Development to grow the pipeline across the UK, Germany and Spain, managing early rights through RTB and sale.

The role requires 4–6 years in infrastructure project development, strong English communication, and a collaborative mindset to drive cross-functional teams and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Legal Studies, Business Management or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure project development, ideally with data centre assets.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel as required for project development activities.

Responsibilities

• Support regional head in implementing the strategic plan for data centre development.
• Assist in building and mentoring the London Data Centre team.
• Identify and evaluate new project opportunities through development partners.
• Coordinate development activities and monitor milestones for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with EPC, Grid, Legal and other departments to execute activities.
• Support sell-side transaction processes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, authorities and partners.
• Monitor regulatory and market developments and share updates.
