Job summary

RedRock Resourcing is seeking a Junior Datacenter Engineer to join a growing team at Heathrow with some travel to other sites. Eligible for SC clearance and holding a full UK driving license is required.

You will gain experience with LV electrical, HVAC and security systems, while supporting 24/7 operations. Responsibilities include maintenance of power, cooling and fire systems, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and coordinating with contractors on site.

Qualifications

Eligible for SC Clearance and hold a full UK driving license.
Working knowledge of LV Electrical systems, HVAC and Security Systems.
Willingness to work on-call, weekends or holidays to support 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain power (UPS, generators), cooling and fire detection/suppression systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to restore operation.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections using PPM schedules and supervise external contractors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA and site policies.
Use building management systems to monitor and react to changes.
Assist clients with safe equipment placement on the data floor.
Travel to other sites as required to support projects or staffing needs.
