Job summary

RedRock Resourcing is looking for a (Junior) Datacentre Facilities Engineer to work in Heathrow/Slough. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring power and cooling systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role may require travel to other sites and on-call work during weekends and holidays. The company offers a salary of up to £32k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of critical infrastructure, including electrical systems and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems under pressure.
• Willingness to work on-call, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain power, cooling, and fire detection systems.
• Actively diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform inspections of infrastructure using PPM Schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance with regulations.
• Use building management systems to monitor systems.
• Assist clients onto the data floor following best practices.
