Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a part-time Electrical Shift Engineer for its on-site Data Centre facilities in Slough, GBR. The role focuses on maintaining critical MEP assets, managing electrical risks, and performing planned and reactive maintenance within a fast-paced data centre environment.

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years in critical environments, HV/LV authorisation, and 18th edition wiring knowledge, with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Authorised Person status and electrical/mechanical engineering background.
• Electrical bias with strong knowledge of MEP systems.
• Experience in critical environments such as data centres or banking HQ is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MEP assets in the data centre to high standards.
• Lead and assist in Planned, Corrective and Reactive maintenance tasks.
• Issue permits to work (PTW) and ensure compliance with risk assessments.

Education

Electrical/Mechanical Engineering UK Level 3 Qualification or equivalent

18th Edition IET: Wiring and Installation

C&G 2391 Inspection, Test and Certification

BS 7671 (Current Edition)

Authorised Person (High Voltage & Low Voltage)
