Job summary

AECOM in the UK is seeking a Chartered Principal Electrical Engineer with Data Centre construction administration experience to lead projects and own delivery. You will mentor engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across the design and field phases.

The role requires experience in data centre design, familiarity with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit, and a track record of working to client briefs and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate experience in building services design with focus on data centres.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Familiar with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical scopes on data centre projects and manage delivery.
• Prepare contract docs and technical specifications.
• Estimate costs and control project budgets.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the group.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and design teams.
• Present solutions to clients and peers and support technical proposals.
