Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chartered Principal Electrical Engineer with Data Centre Construction Administration experience to lead electrical design on data centre projects and take ownership of delivery.

The role requires mentoring and guiding a team of engineers, coordinating with multi-disciplinary colleagues, and ensuring design excellence across stages of the RIBA plan of work, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate experience in a building services design role with focus on data centres.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Familiar with RIBA plan of work stages and site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and management across data centre electrical scopes.
• Prepare contract documentation and specifications.
• Estimate costs and manage project budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
• Present technical solutions to clients and participate in proposals.
