Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Chartered Principal Electrical Engineer with data centre experience to lead electrical scopes and own project delivery. The role requires coordinating with a wide multi-disciplinary team across UK offices, including London Aldgate and St Albans, with expectations of travel and site oversight.

The ideal candidate should have data centre design exposure, familiarity with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, AutoCAD and Revit, and the ability to liaise with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Post graduate experience in a building services design role with data centres.
• Experience with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel internationally.
• Security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design in data centres in collaboration with other disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise project delivery.
• Prepare contract documentation and specifications.
• Attend design team and site meetings as required.
• Provide technical input to studies and design for staff's area of expertise.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, contractors and suppliers.
