Job summary

Clear. is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join the Blyth project in the United Kingdom. You will oversee Environmental, Health and Safety activities on site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving a strong safety culture.

You will develop and implement EHS policies, conduct audits and risk assessments, and lead incident investigations. The role requires 5+ years in EHS within construction or engineering and relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years' EHS experience in construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and standards.
• NEBOSH/IOSH certifications are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and RAMS in line with legal requirements.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project levels.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and subcontractors to ensure EHS alignment.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.
• Prepare EHS reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure environmental permits and sustainability compliance.
• Attend site meetings and project reviews.
