Job summary

Evergreen Talent Group is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the Environmental, Health and Safety strategy for a major hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. You will manage the site EHS team and coordinate with construction management, engineering and subcontractors to ensure compliance with UK legislation and project standards.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• Seven years' experience in construction, engineering or industrial EHS.
• Experience managing EHS on major or technically complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the project EHS strategy.
• Manage the site-based EHS team and provide direction to construction teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and ISO 45001/14001 requirements.
• Coordinate risk assessments, RAMS, and incident investigations.
• Oversee audits, inspections and safety communications across the project.
