Job summary

EHS Lead position on a major data centre construction project in Blyth, England, UK. You will lead Environmental, Health & Safety delivery on site, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and company standards, and embedding a proactive safety culture.

You will collaborate with Project Directors, Construction Managers and subcontractors to implement EHS plans, conduct audits, incidents investigations and training, while maintaining thorough EHS records.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
• Proven leadership in EHS across large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and monitor EHS plans, procedures and safety management systems.
• Drive a proactive safety culture and conduct site inspections and audits.
• Review RAMS, permits and safety documentation; lead incident investigations.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety training.
• Maintain EHS records and report performance to management.
