Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join a major data centre construction project in Blyth, United Kingdom. You will help deliver safe, policy-compliant construction and maintain high EHS standards.

You will work with Project Management, Construction Managers and site teams to promote a proactive safety culture, undertake RAMS reviews, inductions, and safety reporting. NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications are desirable; data centre experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in EHS/Safety Advisor roles in construction/engineering environ-ments.
• Knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and industry standards.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and supporting audits.

Responsibilities

• Support Environmental, Health & Safety policies across the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and observations to identify hazards.
• Assist with RAMS preparation, review and monitoring.
• Monitor subcontractor activities for safety compliance.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness sessions.
• Maintain EHS documentation and safety reports.
• Attend safety, project and coordination meetings.
• Provide guidance on health & safety requirements to project teams.
