Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd. is seeking a Damp & Mould Operative to join a well-established social housing contractor on a permanent basis. The role covers the WC postcode areas of London and offers a clear path to secure, long-term employment.

The ideal candidate will have damp and mould treatment experience within domestic properties or social housing, with strong communication and the ability to work independently. A full UK driving licence is required, and the role operates Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30.

Responsibilities

As a Damp & Mould Operative, you will be:

• Attending customer properties to identify and treat damp and mould issues
• Assessing the type and severity of mould and applying appropriate treatment
• Advising customers on prevention and ongoing maintenance
• Recording visits, treatments and materials used
• Working safely and in line with health & safety regulations

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• Previous damp and mould treatment experience
• Experience working within domestic properties
• Social housing or property maintenance experience
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload
• A full UK driving licence

The Damp & Mould Operative role is offering:

• £28,000 per year
• Company van and fuel card
• 35 days annual leave including bank holidays
• Option to buy and sell annual leave
