Daniel Owen Ltd. in London is seeking a Damp and Mould Operative to inspect and treat damp and mould in residential properties. You will carry out inspections, apply mould treatments, install ventilation solutions, and repair surfaces as part of full property maintenance.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence (manual). You will work with other maintenance teams, adhere to health and safety, and use a PDA system to log materials and tasks.

• Identify and treat damp and mould issues across residential properties.
• Carry out inspections to assess the extent of damage and recommend effective solutions.
• Apply specialised mould treatments and ensure correct ventilation solutions are installed.
• Repair affected surfaces, including painting and decorating, to restore the property to a safe and habitable condition.
• Complete internal and external painting and decorating as part of the mould treatment and property maintenance process.
• Work alongside other maintenance teams to address underlying causes of damp, such as leaks or poor insulation.
• Provide professional advice to tenants regarding the prevention and management of damp and mould.
• Complete work to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Use a PDA system to receive job updates, document materials used, and report completed tasks.
