Job summary

Proofpoint, a global cybersecurity leader, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Enterprise sales team across the DACH region.

You will work with regional sales and marketing to develop inbound and outbound leads, gather intelligence, and connect decision makers. Fluent German and English are required; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English required for functional BDR activities.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and organisational abilities.
• Track record in goal-driven environments and outreach campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound leads for the DACH region.
• Gather actionable intelligence on accounts and projects.
• Follow-up on marketing-generated leads and convert interest to qualified opportunities.
• Manage email campaigns and cold-calling to generate prospects.
• Record communications accurately in Salesforce.com.
• Schedule product demonstrations with the sales team and prospects.
