Job summary

Headway Recruitment is seeking a Service Coordinator for a not-for-profit organisation based in Bradford, supporting its Children and Young People (CYP) services.

This is a 6-month fixed-term role with hybrid/flexible working. You will provide essential operational and administrative support during workforce transitions, vacancies and staff absences to keep the service running smoothly across the CYP teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safeguarding within children\'s health, social care or voluntary sector settings.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence using databases, spreadsheets and reporting systems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different teams.

Responsibilities

• Completing case file audits, file closure reviews and service activity spot checks.
• Maintaining audit records and following up on outstanding actions.
• Supporting accurate record keeping and compliance with service procedures.
• Monitoring incidents and safeguarding concerns, ensuring actions are followed up and recorded appropriately.
• Maintaining incident and safeguarding trackers and escalating overdue actions where needed.
• Monitoring referrals, caseloads and waiting lists across CYP services.
• Keeping databases, records and trackers accurate and up to date.
• Supporting data quality checks and producing routine operational reports.
• Coordinating staff rotas, cover arrangements and workforce records.
