Job summary

JCA Recruitment Specialists in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new relationships with cycle retailers and industry brands, while maintaining existing accounts. The role is field-based and training is provided.

You will manage a territory and own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, with a focus on service-based solutions and a passion for cycling. A base salary of £50,000 with uncapped OTE (£70,000–£80,000+) and a company car are on offer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of selling a service or solution-based offerings.
• Track record in both account management and new business development.
• Ability to communicate at all levels persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and expand the client base - Field based
• Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and our service
• Take ownership of the full sales process from generating leads, selling the service, negotiation and closing
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and maximise account growth
• Attend events to network and create leads and generate new business
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing customers
• Deliver solution-led sales presentations tailored to customer needs
• Manage your own diary and workload effectively
• Grow the territory towards a 60% account management and 40% new business
• Work closely with a supportive and approachable management team
• Focus on field sales activities with NO telesales responsibilities
