Job summary

Edenbrook Ltd. is seeking an experienced claims professional to strengthen the cyber/tech claims function within a specialist insurance team in the UK.

You will manage claims from first notification to settlement, working with external vendors and underwriters to ensure high-quality service. You will be empowered to identify trends, deliver timely reserving, and pursue recoveries while maintaining strong relationships with policyholders and brokers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling claims.
• Strong understanding of cyber/tech policy wordings.
• Experience dealing with external stakeholders.
• Experience with cross-border cyber incidents and forensic investigations.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with ECF is advantageous.
• Degree-level education; professional insurance qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively handle cyber claims from first notification to settlement.
• Foster relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers.
• Coordinate with incident response vendors during claims incidents.
• Ensure prompt reserving, pursue subrogation, reduce leakage.
• Prioritise deadlines in lawsuits and demand letters; respond to queries.
• Collaborate with service providers to deliver timely, value-for-money service.
• Perform general claims admin and produce management information.
• Provide feedback to underwriters and Products team on issues/trends.
• Escalate claims-related issues to Claims Manager/Director when needed.
