Job summary

WR Logistics in Southampton seeks a Customs Clearance Coordinator to manage customs entries from receipt of documentation through to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance for timely processing.

The role is hybrid in a growing employee-owned business, offering profit share and bonus opportunities. You will handle client relationships, maintain audit records, and support the customs process with attention to detail and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, logistics or international trade environment.
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation for customs purposes to process entries accurately.
• Submit customs entries using Descartes E-Customs in compliance with HMRC rules.
• Maintain two-hour turnaround for EU traffic from documentation receipt.
• Provide copies of completed entries to clients by email.
• Keep accurate records in Leda for audit trails.
• Process customs amendments promptly and accurately.
