Job summary

WR Logistics in Southampton is seeking a Customs Clearance Coordinator to join our employee‑owned team. You will manage customs entries from documents receipt to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance while meeting agreed timescales.

You will handle a portfolio of clients, provide practical advice on customs queries, and build trusted relationships to ensure their imports and exports are processed smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience handling customs entries and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of HMRC procedures.
• Excellent accuracy and customer service.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review all documentation received for customs purposes and ensure the required information is available to process entries accurately.
• Submit customs entries using Descartes E-Customs, ensuring full compliance with current HMRC legislation and procedures.
• Work to an agreed two-hour turnaround for EU traffic from receipt of the required documentation.
• Provide copies of completed customs entries to clients by email.
