Job summary

Co-op store in Cullingworth is hiring a Customer Team Member to join a friendly, fast-moving team. You’ll help deliver essential services, stock shelves, operate tills, and may work in the bakery or post office. Full paid training provided and a permanent part-time contract, 12 hours per week with overtime.

You must be 18 or over and available for afternoons, evenings and weekends. The role supports the local community and keeps customers connected with the Co-op family.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers and help fix issues.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle shop floor, tills, and in-store bakery tasks as needed.
• Maintain shelves, check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Keep the store safe and legal—monitor prices, dates, and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
