Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking Customer Team Members for a local Co-op store. You’ll work in a friendly, fast-moving team, delivering helpful service on the shop floor, at tills, and in the bakery. Duties may include handling post or online orders to support community needs.

The role offers 12 hours per week with regular overtime in a permanent part-time contract. Training is provided, you must be 18+, and you’ll join a team helping customers while contributing to community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is welcome but not essential.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Help with bakery duties, post office/online order picking as applicable.
• Keep shelves stocked and prices/dates accurate.
• Ensure store safety and legality, following procedures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and community engagement.
