Job summary

The Co-op Group is seeking Customer Team Members for a local store. You will work on the shop floor and tills, possibly in bakery or post office, delivering friendly service and assisting customers with orders. This 16 hours per week role includes regular overtime and a permanent part-time contract.

Qualifications

• When applying, must have a genuine interest in helping customers.
• Ability to work flexible shifts across days and evenings.
• Interest in retail and busy store environments (experience not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, thoughtful service and help customers as needed.
• Support day-to-day store operations with your team on the floor and tills.
• Assist in bakery or post office where applicable and ensure accurate stock.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and product dates, maintain store standards.
• Promote Co-op membership and engage with the local community.
