Working pattern:

Shifts will fall between 8:30am and 5:45pm, Monday to Saturday, to be discussed at interview. This role will include work on our Post Office Counters.

Full, paid training provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!). You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. Your responsibilities will include providing great service on the tills and the shop floor, re-stocking shelves, and cleaning up spillages.

What you'll do:
  1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service, prioritizing customer needs, responding to queries, promoting Co-op products and Membership, supporting the post office counter, and ensuring a great shopping experience.
  2. Collaborate with store colleagues to solve problems and support customers and members.
  3. Maintain store safety and legality by keeping shelves stocked, and ensuring prices, dates, and temperatures are accurate.
  4. Assist in introducing new products and services, sharing experiences to facilitate team learning.
  5. Support the local community by participating in activities and events.
