Job summary

One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store's appearance. You will work across store areas and support on-the-job coaching to improve service.

You will ensure safety, follow procedures, and assist with post office operations if applicable. This role emphasizes welcoming customers and maintaining a clean, efficient store

Responsibilities

• stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the store's appearance
• responding quickly to assistance calls or interventions on self-service checkouts, explaining what you are doing to the customer
• keeping aisles clear of congestion and maintaining a clean, tidy store
• clocking in and out at the start and end of the shift to ensure you are paid accurately for the hours you work
• following security procedures and wearing safety equipment where available
