Ibstock Plc invites applications for a Customer Service Sales Coordinator on a 12 month fixed term contract at our Parkhouse Sales Office in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire.

In this role you will handle customer enquiries, quotations, orders and schedules, maintain CRM updates, and work with transport to ensure timely deliveries. We offer a supportive team, pension, life cover and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Experience working as part of an effective team.
• Participation in training events which may require travel and overnight stays.
• Excellent telephone manner and accurate keyboard skills.
• Flexible and enthusiastic with the ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications including email, Excel and Word.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries, pricing requests, delivery information and samples by telephone.
• Check addresses, pricing, discount, product and haulage availability.
• Enter quotations, sales orders, sample requests and schedules.
• Investigate credit requests and additional invoices; prepare credit notes.
• Ensure regular and accurate CRM updates.
• Liaise with Transport; manage order book and schedule clearance.
• Check acknowledgements; promote stocks and increase sales in soft sales approach.
