Job summary

Ibstock Plc is recruiting for three Customer Service Sales Coordinators to join the team at the Parkhouse Sales Office in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire. The role involves handling customer enquiries by telephone, processing quotations and sales orders, and coordinating with transport to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to work as part of an effective team.
• Willing to travel for training events; overnight stays may be required.
• Excellent telephone manner and accurate keyboard skills.
• Flexible and enthusiastic; able to work under pressure and use own initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including email, Excel and Word.
• Hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries, pricing requests, delivery information and samples by telephone.
• Check Addresses, Pricing, Discount, Product and Haulage Availability.
• Enter Quotations, Sales Orders, Sample Requests and Schedules.
• Investigate credit requests and additional invoices; prepare credit notes.
• Ensure regular and accurate updates on the CRM package.
• Liaise with Transport; manage Order Book and schedule clearance.
• Check Acknowledgements; support soft sales with external team and customers to promote stocks and increase sales.
