Job summary

Bayman Atkinson Smythe Ltd in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor or Sales Administrator to join their busy team. The role blends customer service, sales administration and order coordination, working with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver a first-class service.

The role is based in Oldham but will relocate to Bredbury, Stockport in the New Year. You must have own transport to work at both sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in customer service or sales administration.
• Ideally experience in manufacturing or logistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• CRM experience.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer and supplier enquiries via telephone and email.
• Processing orders, quotations and sales enquiries.
• Managing customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Building strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Updating customers on order progress and liaising with Production.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and documentation.
• Supporting Production Planning with relevant paperwork.
• Coordinating meetings, visits and appointments.
• Providing general administrative support and contributing to a positive customer experience.
