Job summary

Lawrence Dean Recruitment is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor in Stevenage for a busy team. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, on a temporary basis with potential for internal progression.

You will handle a high volume of calls, deliver exceptional service, and use several systems to update records and resolve customer queries. The position requires commitment to at least 3 months and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Call centre experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong PC skills including databases and Microsoft programmes.
• Proven ability to communicate with people at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Receive a high volume of calls daily.
• Deliver excellent customer service on every call.
• Use multiple systems to update records and pass information to customers.
• Take ownership to resolve queries efficiently.
• Coordinate responses and ensure root cause is addressed.
• Question customers effectively to understand issues.
• Adapt your approach to suit each customer.
• Ensure compliance and standards are met daily.
• Handle higher-level queries and complaints.
