Job summary

Pertemps Banbury Commercial is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator for a full-time, permanent role based in Banbury. The role covers customer service, order processing, logistics, inventory and purchasing, with a salary of £30,000–£33,000 and a six-month salary review.

You will report to the Customer Service Lead and act as a central point of contact for customers while coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues, manage backorders and ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Experience processing customer orders.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proactive and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer enquiries and communications.
• Preparing quotations and processing customer orders.
• Processing invoices, credit notes and returns.
• Monitoring and managing backorders.
• Coordinating deliveries and resolving shipment issues.
• Supporting inventory and purchasing activities.
• Assisting with stock administration and stock accuracy.
• Preparing freight, customs and import documentation.
• Maintaining shipment and transport records.
• Providing support and cover for colleagues when required.
