Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 07.30 – 04.30

Location: Fareham, option to work from home 1 day a week.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Executive to join our client in Fareham.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, process orders & enquiries promptly, and deliver an excellent customer experience at all times.

You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers, creating opportunities for upselling additional products.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Providing help and advice to customers using your knowledge of the organisation's products or services.
  • Selling additional products through customer service and building ongoing relationships with clients.
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently using Oracle NetSuite system.
  • Entering orders received by email, phone, or website into Oracle NetSuite with high accuracy.
  • Communicating courteously with customers via telephone, email, and letter.
  • Investigating and resolving customer issues, which may be complex or long-term.
  • Agreeing on product returns in consultation with the relevant Account Manager/Department.
  • Capturing all customer experience information in Oracle NetSuite, including feedback and opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Supporting Account Management through proactive activities.
  • Generating quotes based on customer requirements using Oracle NetSuite.
  • Learning about our products and staying updated with changes.
  • Liaising with Operations regarding order progress and informing customers of any delays or incomplete deliveries.
  • Performing any other reasonable ad hoc tasks as directed by the Customer Service Manager relevant to operational activities.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person, with opportunity to work from home 1 day a week.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service role is essential.
  • Experience in a sales support role is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
