Job summary
Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer seeks a Customer Service Executive/Fleet Controller to ensure a high-quality truck and trailer rental service. You will coordinate prep, deliveries, collections and inspections, keeping vehicles compliant, clean and ready for hire.
Working with Engineering, Fleet Services and branches, you’ll resolve issues, manage maintenance schedules and support invoicing and branch operations. A full UK driving licence and strong MS Office skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or similar environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a practical transport environment.
- Full, valid UK driving licence required.
- Knowledge of asset rental, transport or distribution advantageous.

- A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, alongside the ability to learn new systems such as the truck and trailer app.
- Knowledge of asset rental, transport or distribution would be advantageous, alongside an ability to inspect vehicles and carry out routine cleaning and maintenance.
