Job summary

Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer seeks a Customer Service Executive/Fleet Controller to ensure a high-quality truck and trailer rental service. You will coordinate prep, deliveries, collections and inspections, keeping vehicles compliant, clean and ready for hire.

Working with Engineering, Fleet Services and branches, you’ll resolve issues, manage maintenance schedules and support invoicing and branch operations. A full UK driving licence and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service or similar environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Able to manage competing priorities in a practical transport environment.
Full, valid UK driving licence required.
Knowledge of asset rental, transport or distribution advantageous.

Responsibilities

Coordinate vehicle preparation, deliveries and collections to meet customer requirements.
Perform check-in and check-out inspections, identify damage and maintenance needs.
Manage MOT schedules, maintenance, recalls and customer communications to minimise downtime.
Collaborate with Engineering, Fleet Services, customers, branches and repair agents to resolve issues.
Support rental agreements, customer invoicing, driver administration and branch operations.
