Job summary

Tarmac is recruiting a Customer Service Coordinator for the Mountsorrel hub near Loughborough. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling telephone and email orders and ensuring swift progression to delivery.

The role supports cross-functional teams, involves 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday, with rotating start times and occasional Saturday mornings on a rota. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• First class customer service and communication skills.
• Confident telephone manner.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with data entry and order processing.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; Salesforce CRM advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via telephone, online and email orders from initial contact through to delivery.
• Perform data entry and order processing tasks accurately.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to clarify information and resolve queries.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM system.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and support transport planning.
